Tea and spray paint..

But not in that order.  I never got back to portablizing last night.  Instead I experienced the joy that is Bondo.  I just wanted to finish Fume-0 once and for all so I spent a few hours doing some cosmetic work.  Now with the Bondo completely cured I started smoothing it up.  Love my Mouse sander.  Makes things so much faster than my old hand sanding days.

Fume-0 looks pretty good after Bondo.  But unfortunately, I had to add an ass gasket (as in it looks like ass) since my the fan isn't a tight fit to the PVC.  I'll see if painting it makes it look better.  If not then I'm going to have to find a more eye-pleasing solution.
Fume-0 also got a size reduction.  Now it's 10 inches shorter at 8 inches in length.  I also mounted the control box toward the backside so that Fume-0 angles down into the work.

Tonight the goal was to finish up the painting, reassemble, and be done with it.  However, in my haste I broke the red wire coming off the fan and spent some time putting it back together now realizing that my soldering iron tip might be shot.  I've also abandoned the backside cap as it caused too much back pressure and wasn't nearly as good at extracting fumes.  So now I'm just going to direct fumes away from me.  Not really removing the bad stuff, just pushing it off somewhere away from my healthy lungs.

I have 5 minutes until the primer is paintable.  Then I'll get a coat of black on the interior.  The exterior will get a few coats of red tomorrow and finally, finally I am finished.  Out.
